In short: if you spot an error on ShopTera, tell us using the details on this page. We investigate genuine reports and correct confirmed errors as quickly as we reasonably can.
No editorial process is perfect. Insurance rules and terminology can be complex, and genuine mistakes can happen despite our review process described in our Fact-Checking Policy. This page explains how to report a suspected error and what happens after you do.

We distinguish between routine content updates, such as refreshing a guide to reflect general market changes, and corrections, which specifically address a factual error. Both are covered by our regular review process, but corrections are prioritised once verified, since they directly affect the accuracy of what a reader has already been told.
We aim to acknowledge genuine correction requests promptly and to investigate them as quickly as we reasonably can. Response times may vary depending on the complexity of the issue and how many enquiries we are handling at a given time.
If we investigate a report and conclude that the original content was accurate, we will explain our reasoning. If you still disagree, you are welcome to provide further supporting information for us to review again.
